Silo Business
The Group includes 11 silo businesses and grain collection stations with a combined storage capacity of 530,000 tons located in five strategically vital grain-producing regions of Ukraine – Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv and Luhansk Oblasts. Due to their geographic location these enterprises can effectively encompass sources of raw materials and procure maximum volumes of grain and oil crops. By utilizing such facilities the AGROTRADE Group can collect agricultural produce of different quality and later improve its condition for export. It ensures a guaranteed quality of exported agricultural products compliant with international standards. Quality of grain and sold products is established by certified production and technical laboratories equipped with modern measurement devices. A system for automated weighing and registration of cargo has been implemented during process automation efforts at silos and grain collection stations.
