Gadiachsky Silo of the Agrotrade company successfully tested the new US-made MS 1174 grain dryer in practice

MS 1175 is a modular grain dryer of continuous action, whose design and performance reflects modern world drying technologies for grain of any moisture content. It can operate in either the dry-and-cool mode or only the dry mode. The grain column is 30.5 cm thick allowing an even removal of moisture near the external and internal walls of the grain column. The automated moisture control device used in it allows automatic adjustment of grain movement through the dryer at different moisture levels of the grain.

Based on the grain dryer the enterprise assembled and put into operation a new complex for receipt, drying and storage of grain over four months (May to September 2006). The MS 1175 grain dryer effectively and reliably performed during the last season of maize drying demonstrating the practical productivity of 200 tons of maize with moisture content of 32% per day.
